Zyncast legal
Terms of Service
What Zyncast provides, what we need from you, and what happens when a platform, an automation or we ourselves get something wrong.
Last updated 1 August 2026
1.The agreement
These terms are between you and Zyncast (“Zyncast”, “we”, “us”). By messaging Zyncast on WhatsApp, connecting a social account, or using our dashboard, you agree to them. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company.
2.What Zyncast does
Zyncast takes content you send us and publishes it to the social accounts you have connected. You can schedule posts, set up recurring ones, create automations, ask for AI assistance with captions and images, and see how posts performed.
We act on your instruction and on your behalf. We do not post anything you have not approved, and we do not create content of our own on your accounts.
3.Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Give us accurate details, and keep your WhatsApp number and email up to date — they are how we identify you and how we reach you.
- Anyone with access to your WhatsApp account can instruct Zyncast. Keep that device and account secure, and tell us immediately at security@zyncast.com if you think someone else has access.
- You’re responsible for everything done through your account.
4.Connected accounts and platform rules
When you connect Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn or X, you authorise us to publish and read on your behalf within the permissions you granted. You can revoke that at any time, from your dashboard or from the platform.
Your use of each platform is still governed by that platform’s own terms, and you remain responsible for following them. Publishing through Zyncast does not exempt you from a platform’s content policies, rate limits, or advertising and disclosure rules.
Platforms change their APIs, and sometimes restrict or remove features without notice. If that happens we’ll tell you what changed, but we can’t guarantee a feature that depends on someone else’s API will keep working.
5.Your content stays yours
You own everything you send us. You give us a limited licence to store, process, reformat and transmit it — only so we can do the things you asked for, such as cropping an image for Instagram or publishing a post to TikTok. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm you have the rights to what you publish, including rights to any music, footage, images or trademarks in it, and to the likeness of anyone appearing in it.
6.What you must not do
Do not use Zyncast to:
- Publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
- Impersonate anyone, or post to accounts you do not own or are not authorised to manage.
- Send spam, run engagement farms, coordinate inauthentic behaviour, or operate networks of accounts designed to look independent.
- Circumvent any platform’s rate limits, automation policies or content moderation.
- Publish misinformation about elections, health or public safety.
- Scrape, resell or redistribute data you obtain through Zyncast.
- Probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we report what the law requires us to report.
7.AI-assisted content
AI features produce drafts. They can be wrong, generic, or subtly off in tone — you review everything before it publishes, and you are responsible for what goes out under your name.
Where a platform or your local law requires you to disclose that content is AI-generated, that disclosure is your responsibility.
8.Beta, availability and pricing
Zyncast is in beta. It is free while the beta runs, and we will give you clear notice by email and in your WhatsApp thread before we introduce any charge. You will never be charged without agreeing first.
During the beta we don’t offer a service level guarantee. We may change, pause or withdraw features. We aim to give notice, and we will always let you export your scheduled content before a change that would lose it.
9.Ending it
You can stop at any time — message DELETE on WhatsApp or follow the data deletion instructions. We disconnect your accounts and erase your data as described there.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or that a platform requires us to disable. Except in serious cases we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.
10.Disclaimers and liability
Zyncast is provided “as is”. We don’t warrant that publishing will always succeed — platforms reject content, expire tokens and go down, and we can only report what they tell us.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost audience, or lost content, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or USD 100. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
You’ll cover us for claims arising from content you published through Zyncast or from your breach of these terms.
11.Changes and governing law
If we change these terms materially we’ll email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Zyncast after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos have exclusive jurisdiction — except that consumers keep any rights to bring proceedings where they live.
